About the choir

Antiphon are a committed and passionate body of singers from the North East,  who aim to sing music to the highest standard.  

We bring music to churches in the region that are otherwise silent;  we put on high-quality chamber concerts in churches, cathedrals and other venues,  and occasionally sing perform further afield in the UK and abroad.

Our repertoire is extensive and versatile and spans 700 years;  our main focus is early sacred music but we cover everything up to the 21st century,  including technically demanding works.
